The  Albert Arms is situated on the corner of Gladstone Street close to St Georges Circus, Southwark SE1.  The Imperial War Museum is within walking distance as is Lambeth North and Elephant & Castle Underground Stations.  This is a family run public house with friendly staff and provides the perfect place to meet, drink and eat.  The exterior is in keeping with the Victorian terrace of Gladstone Street, with leaded windows and traditional lighting.  The facade is accentuated with striking floral arrangements and has outside seating to enjoy the warm days.

The Albert Arms has two bars - the Albert and Victoria.  Both bars are complimented by the original oak panelling with the old brickwork exposed.  Each bar is decorated with an assortment of unusual objects from post war radios to traditional London road signs.  The Albert Arms has an open fireplace and cosy alcove for two.  Listen to live jazz by candle light in the Albert Bar on a Saturday night or watch sports in the smaller Victoria Bar.

This house offers premium lagers, beers, real ales, wines and spirits.  Home cooked food is served Monday to Friday with a traditional Sunday roast lunch served between 12 noon and 4pm; the menu is rotated seasonally.

So, next time you are in the area don't walk by but come in and experience the atmosphere of the Albert Arms!
