This is a traditional local pub situated behind Shoreditch High Street at the junction with Bethnal Green Road.  It is a one bar house with a function room and walled garden.  An excellent Sunday Carvery is available in the first floor restaurant.  Activities include summer BBQ's, bar billiards, satellite television and a weekly quiz (Tuesdays).  An extensive homemade menu is available at lunchtimes, including daily specials.
